I’ve been away from my blog a while, finished my first semester of teaching in China in January. The Chinese New Year began February 10th and is known as Spring Festival. It is probably the largest migration of humans on our planet at one time where everyone in China travels back to their home town or village to bring in the new year. For those in the West it’s a combination of Thanksgiving and New Year celebrations rolled into one. I actually came back to America, as school was out, and spent time with family and friends. Arrived in New Haven just in time for the blizzard of 2013. That’s the roof of my car on the left in front of my house.
