Last week was a very busy week, for the students as well as the teachers. As teachers, we were wrapping-up the first four weeks of teaching and learning our students’ names, getting used to our classes, fine-tuning our syllabus for the rest of the semester. For the students, especially the sophomores, it was a week of interviews, meetings and elections to the Student Council. Second year students interview the arriving freshman for the various clubs and student organizations which they may want to participate. The freshman classes just began yesterday as they spend the first 3 weeks in military training before starting classes.
Here are some images of the colorful posters the organizations put up to entice the freshman to come join their particular club. Some are simple inscriptions while others are more elaborate. Sophomores spent a lot of time to prepare for this important week of activities.
